Sunday July 15th 2012, Photographs from the eclipses of Io, Europa, Jupiter, Ganymede and Callisto by the Moon.

While waiting for the Moonrise, a zoom from Nea Makrh, Attica, Greece to a city in the west coast of the Island Euboea.

A young friend noticed the Moon and pointed it to me, so I had a Zoom of the Moon above some houses a bit at the edge of an Euboean city.

Not able to see Jupiter my zoom did not include it.

My first zoom on the conjucting celestial objects, the bigger planet of our solar system Jupiter soon will be occulted (from Earths viewpoint) by our satellite the Moon.

As soon as I caught Venusrise, I realized that I could return to my Balcony and have the biggest part of this session, taken from the convenience of my home :)

A normal photograph with zero zoom from my balcony shows only the Moon.

A bit of zoom permits Jupiter to be seen too.

Even more zoom is not enough for Venus to appear in the photo.

At least now Venus is included.

All 4 Jupiter's satellites inculded, 2 between Jupiter and the Moon and 2 at the left side of Jupiter.

A bit different zoom just to be sure about the sats...

Venus appears clear now.

Conjunction "caught" be the leaves of the nearby tree.

Either Io is now Behind the Moon or the light hides it.

The light of the illuminated part of the Moon cover a bit of the light of Jupiter from my ccd.

It' about time for Jupiter to reappear and I went just out to the front door for next session. A bit late... 2 satellites and Jupiter already appeared coming out the dark side of the Moon.

Conjuction above the wires and Venus under them.

One of the 2 satellites to the upper right side of Jupiter is now to close to him. From the 2 at his left side one already appeared and the last one soon will come out too.

The 4th satellite although faintly glowing appeared and the phenomenon ended.

The last one from the front door, although without zoom and at dawn, all main objects are still visible!
